Fergo & Isabela

Fergo is an excellent mum to Isabela. It is ok not to have much sleep at night as we can always find a little moment for a nap, just the two of us.

 

Double crochet in spiral in most parts. Easy to adjust Fergo's sitting positions with her long arms and legs.

Rnd 56: ch 1, turn; dc in each st across (6 sts)

Rnd 57: ch 5, turn; dc in the 2nd ch from hook, dc in the next 3 chs, ss in the 2nd st of Rnd 56, ss in the next st, ch 6, dc in the 2nd ch from hook, dc in the next 4 chs, ss in the next st of Rnd 56, ss in the next st, ch 5, dc in the 2nd ch from hook, dc in the next 3 chs, ss in the last st of Rnd 56 and fasten off

 

Sew the legs to the body.

Eyes

Make two. Follow the instruction below for the white area of each eye (piece E).

 

Rnd 1: Yarn B; 6dc into an adjustable ring and pull the yarn end to tighten up (6 sts)

Rnd 2: 2dc in each st around, ss and fasten off (12 sts)

 

Follow the instruction below to complete each eye.

 

Rnd 1: Yarn A; 6dc into an adjustable ring and pull the yarn end to tighten up (6 sts)

Rnd 2: 2dc in each st around, ss and fasten off (12 sts)

Rnd 3: [dc in the next st, 2dc in the next st] 6 times (18 sts)

Rnd 4: [dc in the next st, dc2tog] 6 times (12 sts)

Rnd 5: Add filling, cover the edge of this part with piece E with the right side facing out, crochet the edges of both pieces together with dc, ss and fasten off (12 sts).

 

Embroider the pupil with black yarn on the white area of each eye. Sew both eyeballs on the face between Rnds 5-8 from the top of the head.

Mouth

Follow the instruction below for the bottom lip.

 

Rnd 1: Yarn C; 4dc into an adjustable ring and pull the yarn end to tighten up (4 sts)

Rnd 2: dc in each st around (4 sts)

Rnd 3: [dc in the next st, 2dc in the next st] 2 times (6 sts)

Rnds 4-8: dc in each st around (6 sts)

Rnd 9: [dc in the next st, dc2tog] 2 times (4 sts)

Rnd 10: dc in each st around, ss and fasten off.

 

Follow the instruction below for the top lip.

 

Rnd 1: Yarn C; 4dc into an adjustable ring and pull the yarn end to tighten up (4 sts)

Rnds 2-10: 2dc in each st around (4 sts)

 

Sew the top and bottom lips together before sewing them on the face.
