Miss Haper

This crochet accessories bag can be handy. Made with black colour yarn and lit up with the bright multicolour one.

 

Crochet cables and double crochets work well together. A pretty colourful pom-pom on each end of the drawing string makes the bag looks extra charming.

Rnd 1: Yarn A; ch 31, 2dc in the 2nd ch from hook, dc in the next 28 chs, 4dc in the last ch, turn to work along other side of ch, dc in the next 28 chs, 2dc in the next st (64 sts)

Handles

Make two handles with a length of approximately 84cm each. Follow the instruction below for each handle.

Rnd 1: Yarn A; 6dc into an adjustable loop and pull the yarn end to tighten up (6 sts)

Rnds 2-114: dc in each st around (6 sts)

Rnd 115: Insert the working yarn end through each stitch of the last round, pull the yarn end to tighten up and fasten off

 

Sew each end of the handles to the inner side of the bag around Rnds 24-28 and the ends of each handle are approximately 20 stitches apart.

Pom-pom string

Make two pom-poms and a bag string of 120 chain stitches using Yarn B. Leave enough yarn at both ends of the string for tying to pom-poms. Insert the string back and forth through the holds on Rnd 29 of the bag and tie the pom-pom to each end of the string.
